Elkana Ong'esa is a Kenyan sculptor of the Kisii ethnic group, located in southwestern Kenya. Elkana sculpts primarily in Kisii stone, a soapstone-like material quarried only in that part of the world.
Elkana's most prized pieces of art work can be found all over the world such as:
- UNESCO headquarters in Paris
- Caltex Oil Company base in Texas
- U.N. headquarters in New York
- Coca-Cola Olympic Museum
- and most recently at the
Changchun World Sculpture Park
in northeastern China.
30% of all sales will be contributed
to the Sema Academy in Kenya.
